Using the site
- TypeMaster is free to use for personal practice, study and teaching.
- No account is needed. Your settings and results are stored only in your own browser, as described in our Privacy Policy Terms of Use.
- Please do not misuse the site, for example by trying to break it, overloading it with automated requests, or copying it to present as your own.
Test results and articles
Typing speed and accuracy results are estimates calculated in your browser using the standard method (5 characters = 1 word). They can vary with your keyboard, device and the text in each test. Our articles and lessons are general guidance about typing; speed ranges in them are approximate. They are not professional, medical or career advice.

Ads and links to other sites
TypeMaster may show ads served by Google AdSense, and links to other websites such as Ko-fi. We are not responsible for the content or policies of other websites. Ads are filtered to keep them suitable for a general, family audience.
Availability
The site is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or remove features at any time.
